Spark — world premiere (Glyndebourne)
Hugo Herman-Wilson sings Ember / Dad in the world premiere of Spark, a new family opera by composer Lucy Armstrong and librettist Olivia Bell, presented with the Glyndebourne Youth Opera as part of Glyndebourne's Autumn Season. A story of loss, friendship and rediscovering the spark to keep going; suitable for ages 8 and above. Performances 14 and 15 November 2026.
Monteverdi, L'Orfeo (Glyndebourne Festival)
Hugo Herman-Wilson sings Pastore II in Glyndebourne's first ever production of Monteverdi's L'Orfeo, his Glyndebourne debut. A new staging by William Kentridge with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, conducted by Jonathan Cohen; the cast is led by Krystian Adam as Orfeo. A co-production with the Metropolitan Opera and Greek National Opera.
Performances on 14, 18, 21, 24, 27 June and 3, 7, 10, 12, 18, 20, 23, 25 July 2026.
